EcoTarium

With increasing attendance and demand for outdoor programming, The EcoTarium hired Coyle & Caron to create a multi-year vision for their sixty-acre campus. The plan focuses on improving guest arrival and connectivity between the campus and the museum and adding outdoor experiences and animal habitats that connect visitors to Massachusetts wildlife.

Changes reinforce arrival points at both the north and south sides of the museum creating two zones of activity that combine outdoor experiences with immersive, live animal habitats. A new animal care addition is proposed to meet current and future demands as well as AZA accreditation.
