Design for a new beaver habitat includes relocating the current indoor area to a place in the Museum where an outdoor connection is possible. The new habitat includes a 3,000 square foot exterior area, with an adjacent enrichment yard of the same size and a 400 square foot interior exhibit. An acrylic tube and den are utilized for a year round connection between indoor and outdoor areas. Main Street Design partnered with Coyle and Caron to ensure integration with existing indoor exhibits and to develop an exterior interpretive plan.
